Carola Taddeo
Carola Taddeo was born in 1976 in San Antonio de Areco, Province of Buenos Aires; an area known as the "cradle" of Argentina's traditional gaucho culture. Raised on her family's ranch and surrounded by cattle and horses, she felt a deep connection with the lifestyle and images of Argentina's immense Pampas from her earliest years. As a result of her keen, daily observations of horses and ranch life in general, she developed an incredibly fine and sensitive capacity of turning her mental images into paintings.
As a result of her artistic inclinations, she attended San Antonio de Areco School of Fine Arts. After finishing her studies there and earning her degree in 1998, she undertook more specific training on the traditional subjects of Argentine countryside culture and began to work with internationally acclaimed artists of this genre such as Marcelo de Angelis, Marcos Borio and Jorge Frasca.
From then until now, she has never stopped painting; continually refining her techniques while maintaining her focus on the subject matter that has made Carola Taddeo one of Latin America's finest artists in this area.
